“Someone who believes that a guy fathered himself in order to send himself to earth in order to kill himself in order to appease himself for the very sins to which he himself convicted mankind as retribution for having fallen for a trick effected through the agency of a TALKING SNAKE doesn’t get to call other people’s beliefs “ridiculous”.” —The Wise Sister | reasonWeekly (via nickdouglas) (via dalasverdugo)

Seven Reasons why Fireworks Works for Screen Design → idlemode.com

adobegripes:

Photoshop layers were created for photo compositing, not drawing a UI comprised of hundreds of small pieces. In Fireworks small assets are can easily grouped and ungrouped. While nested layer sets begin to address this in Photoshop, the result is a kludge wired onto the side of the virtual darkroom.

quite!  but why?  WHY? does every designer insist on using photoshop? making me hunt through psds, switching on and off layers and finally having to redraw the bastard thing in fireworks myself??

why is that?
